Community Celebration

Community Celebration. Free admission. Be there at 9:15 am for 9:00 fun run between Orr’s and Bailey Island fire stations escorted by fire truck. Family and kids’ activities include hands on fire hose deployment and exploring a fire truck. Put on the heavy firefighting gear. Buy a raffle ticket for a chance to dunk a fireman in a dunk tank. There will be raffles for all kinds of goods and services, from household items to an educational tour on a lobster boat. Lobster rolls, hot dogs and hamburgers for purchase. Live music. Art exhibition in adjacent schoolhouse building.
