Sewell’s Farm was established in 1984 in Carroll County. Both Lori and Ronnie came from farming backgrounds. Ronnie was raised on and helped run, along with his family, Sewell's Orchard in Ellicott City, MD, until moving to Taneytown. Lori was raised on Mount Ridge Farms in Biglerville, PA where her family raised fruit orchards. They brought their love and expertise together to start Sewell's Farm in Carroll County where they specialize in Christmas Trees but also provide many other specialty crops such as pumpkins, sweet corn, tomatoes, and more! In 1984, we started out with strawberries, produce, and general farming, which allowed us to discover the joy in providing for the local public while we awaited our first crop of Christmas Trees. Seven years, and a lot of hard work & TLC, brought our first harvest and we have been replanting to have continual tree availability ever since. Our family helps on weekends to assure you have a pleasant experience at Sewell’s Farm.
