Although the story seems outrageous, the film has amassed a fandom who continuously delve deeper into the film. Two such fans, authors Aubry Paris and Emily Black, hosts of the National Treasure Hunt podcast, examine the film and the real figures and events portrayed within to determine how much fact and fiction the film contains.
