It’s autumn of 1774 and the city of Annapolis is still in uproar over the Peggy Stewart affair! Voices…and tempers… are still raised. Citizens are forming a militia to keep out any British incursion! Conflict seems inevitable.
Join the First Maryland Regiment of today as they interpret the idea that war will perhaps be the result of British encroachments on American rights. Join the conversation, hear the news…as the colonies continue to march toward revolution!
About Our Presenters: Today’s First Maryland Regiment has commemorated the bravery of Maryland’s colonial troops since the 1970’s. Today, the unit is composed of 30+ members, including women and children.
