Columbia Pro Cantare's next concert, "Broadway!" will feature some of the most memorable songs of Broadway shows spanning nearly a century. "Broadway!" will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 8 pm in the Jim Rouse Theatre, Columbia. Featured composers include George and Ira Gershwin, Richard Rodgers, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Stephen Sondheim, Charlie Smalls, and Stephen Schwartz. The program will include selections from "The Wiz," "Into the Woods," "Pippin," “Hamilton,” a medley of Gershwin works, and other shows. Pre-concert lecture at 7:30 pm.
