Caroline Summerfest

Join us the 35th annual end-of-summer celebration unfolds.

Caroline Summerfest is a free, family entertainment festival featuring two stages of regional and local entertainment, a Friday battle of the high school marching bands, Saturday fireworks show, strolling performers, artisans, free Rec-Creations activities, games and food vendors featuring local non-profits.

Some activities that Summerfest offers are, including but not limited to:
Ride a firetruck
Jump in bounce houses
Free Rec-Creations stations
and so much more.

Schedule:

8:00am: Rivah Run
A fun 2-mile paddling event for children and adults of all ages.
Rivah Run is a fun, open, 2-mile paddling event for children and adults of all ages under 18 must be with adult.
Any type of paddle craft is eligible for this “Poker run.”Beginning and ending at the Choptank River Yacht Club, each paddler stops at a series of five Dealer checkpoints to receive a playing card. At the finish, the best 5 card poker hand wins the first pick of prize options with a cash value of $750.

Dusk: Fireworks.
Head on down Market Street for a great view of the fireworks show over the Choptank River.

5:00pm - 9:00pm: Ride a Firetruck.
Fun for all ages. Get in line early for this popular Summerfest tradition. Brought to you by the Denton Fire Department.

5:00pm - 9:00pm: Bouncy House Bonanza
Lots of bouncy fun for little kids and older ones, brought to you by Shore Party Rentals. Don't lose your shoes.
