Small Stones Festival of the Arts

The Small Stones Festival

We're very excited to announce the Small Stones Festival of the Arts for 2022! The Festival will once again be held at locations around the newly renovated Grafton Common including the beautiful Great Hall, Apple Tree Arts at One Grafton Common and our newly reimagined and rebuilt Grafton Public Library.

Our Art and Photography Exhibition opens on Friday evening, October 14. We are once again grateful for the support of our six jurors. Our fine art painting jurors are Jo Ellen Reinhart, Susan Termyn and William Pope. Our photography jurors are Lauren Szumita, David DeMelim and Al Weems. They bring considerable experience and expertise to the Festival and you can read more about their backgrounds below.

Our literary track, under the direction of the Shakespeare Club of Grafton, includes talks by author and journalist, Nicholas Gage and Professor Helen Whall, as well as the immersive living history performance of History at Play, from Annie Adams Field. Our music track features the work of the Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra.
