Ryan C. Joubert Memorial Skatepark
In April 2001, friends and family of Ryan came together to establish the Ryan C. Joubert Memorial Foundation. Ryan had always loved to skate and was passionate about skateparks, traveling to Boston, New Hampshire and Vermont to check out as many skateparks as possible. Ryan's own skatepark drawing is the inspiration for the Fitchburg skatepark. Thanks to the generosity of many individuals and collaboration with Fitchburg city officials, we broke ground on June 2, 2002 (Ryan’s 18th birthday) at Parkhill Park. The Community has been active in helping to bring this dream to life and continues to support the park today. Learn how you can make a difference in your community.
