She credits musicians Ella Fitzgerald, Jon Hendricks, Mel Torme, Louis Armstrong, Kurt Elling, Jose Feliciano, and Bobby McFerrin as her primary influences and acknowledges the privilege to follow such luminary artists in the traditions of Black American music. She has had the privilege of performing alongside some of her musical heroes including Jon Hendricks, Kurt Elling, and Lauren Hobgood. Matt DeChamplain:

Matt DeChamplain opens the concert and is a jazz pianist with roots in a variety of styles within the genre, including stride piano, swing, bebop, and post-bop. His playing is characterized by lyrical soloing, technical proficiency, and a hard-swinging sound.
