Renowned cellist Amit Peled and the festival's Founder, Artistic Director, and Pianist Donald Enos will present a quintessential example of romantic chamber music, Edvard Grieg's Sonata for cello and piano, Op.36. This will be followed, in marked contrast, by Friedrich Gulda's Cello Concerto with its eclecticism, surprise elements, and thoroughly modernist approach.
