This month, celebrate the opening of the online exhibition Balikbayan | Homecoming featuring content created by people of Filipino
descent who responded to thirteen of the 8,000 items from the country in the Peabody Museum’s care. Listen to rondalla music by strolling musicians, watch folk dances, and learn a few folk dance steps. Enjoy Filipino food for sale.
Enjoy the musical and dance talents of special guestsfrom the Iskwelahang Pilipino cultural school
Visit with three “Curator’s Choice” artifacts outside of their cases in small, 20-minute group sessions hosted by the Peabody curator of Oceanic collections

Chat with volunteers to learn about natural history highlights such as the Philippine flying lemur and rare marine shells
