Film: Maria

The tumultuous, beautiful and tragic story of the life of the world’s greatest female opera singer (Maria Callas played by Angelina Jolie), relived and reimagined during her final days in 1970s Paris.

Star Angelina Jolie spent seven months vigorously training to sing opera. In most of the film Callas’s voice recordings were used, with Jolie lip-synching. But at the end of the film, Jolie’s singing voice is heard.

Doors open for admissions 30 minutes prior to screening.
