Fast and Furriest 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk

Join the St. Mark's community on Saturday, October 5, 2024, 8:30 a.m., for the Fast and Furriest 5K Run, 1-Mile Walk, and Blessing of the Animals at 1 Porter Road, East Longmeadow, to celebrate the Feast Day of St. Francis. Proceeds benefit and raise awareness for St. Mark's outreach initiatives to the greater community, including Loaves and Fishes, Nursing Home Ministry, Big Blue/Church Without Walls, and the LGBT Asylum Task Force. We invite participants to run or walk with their fastest, furriest loved one. Race and walk start time is 8:30 a.m., with a Blessing of the Animals open to all at 9:30 a.m. Race fee is $15 through September 1, 2024 ($30 after 9/1/24 and on race day.) Kids under 12 can participate at no charge. Fee includes race registration, swag, post-race breakfast, and awards ceremony, including prizes for top finishers.
