Cape Cod National Seashore, Wellfleet, MA

The Cape Cod National Seashore is visible as you travel along Route 6A. With stops in several towns, the beaches and trails are sublime. Fall foliage is expected to peak the third week in October and is stunning when viewed along this route.

Bourne Trails, Bourne, MA

Just a short drive from your lunch spot, you can walk off your meal along the Bourne Trails. Enjoy rustic paths through brilliant field—almost all with views of the beach or the bay in full view.

Easily viewed from the road, they’re even more spectacular when you get out and walk on the sand. There is a parking lot and beach adjacent to the dunes that allow you to do just that. Be sure to bring your camera!
