Exhibition - 'Designing My Library' Work by Sheffield 3rd Grade Students
Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 10:00am to 05:00pm
Great Falls Discovery Center
2 Avenue A
For all ages. In an effort to include young people in the conversation regarding the Building Project to either expand the Carnegie Library or build a new library on a different site, local elementary students from the Gill-Montague Regional School District were asked to consider what a new (or renovated) library would look like. The assignment was led by art teacher Jocelyn Castro-Santos, in collaboration with Youth Services Librarian Angela Rovatti-Leonard, from the Montague Public Libraries.
The Great Falls Discovery Center is kindly displaying the students' artwork in their hallway gallery.
The artwork will be on display in the hallway gallery March 23 through the end of April.
