Join us for a Sunday afternoon concert in the beautiful historic Richardson Building for an afternoon of cabaret featuring soprano Jean Danton and pianist Luke Molloy.
Jean Danton, Soprano/Equity Actor, is thrilled to be performing again in the beautiful Richardson Room on this wonderful concert series with her dear friend and collaborator, Luke Molloy. Jean has appeared throughout the United States and abroad, with renowned conductors Christopher Hogwood, Helmuth Rilling, Martin Pearlman, Bruce Hangen, Julian Wachner, Gerhardt Zimmermann, and Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops Orchestra. Jean made her Carnegie Hall debut with the Masterwork Chorus, and her Lincoln Center debut at Avery Fisher Hall with the National Chorale, in both performing Handel's Messiah. Her numerous concert performances include the Handel and Haydn Society, Boston Baroque, Carmel Bach Festival, Oregon Bach Festival, Baltimore Choral Arts Society, Nashua Symphony Orchestra, Colorado Breckenridge Music Festival, New York Bach Aria Festival, and the North Carolina Symphony. Concerts abroad include the Biellese Festival and Associazione Culturale in Italy, and The Atelier Concert Series in Paris. She has performed stage roles with Boston Baroque, New England Light Opera, Greater Buffalo Opera, Boston Classical Orchestra, American Classics, and the American Repertory Theatre (ART).
Jean’s regional concerts include soloist with the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra, Fall River Symphony Orchestra, North Shore Philharmonic Orchestra, Hillyer Festival Orchestra, Wellesley Symphony, and the Rhode Island Civic Chorale and Orchestra. She has performed as a recitalist on many prestigious concert series at the N.Y.C. Trinity Church Concert Series, Twentieth Century Music Series at the N.Y. Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center, and the Martha’s Vineyard and Rockport Chamber Music Festivals.
Jean has several solo albums with Albany Records, Newport Classic, and CDBaby ranging from Classical to Musical Theatre. She is a featured artist on Pandora Premium and her film credits include documentaries on PBS, Lifetime, and Oregon Public Broadcasting. Jazz performances include concerts with the Rusty Scott Quartet and Bruce Hangen and the Orchestra at Indian Hill.

Luke Molloy is thrilled to be sharing the stage again with one of his favorite collaborators, Jean Danton, in their third annual concert at the Richardson Room.
Luke is a music director, pianist, and conductor from Quincy. His recent credits include The Full Monty (Umbrella Stage Company), The Sound of Music (Ogunquit Playhouse), The Rocky Horror Show (Bucks County Playhouse), and four productions of Jersey Boys (North Shore Music Theatre, Cape Playhouse, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Theatre Aspen).
He has music directed concerts for JM Productions at the United First Parish Church and Boston Marriott Quincy, featuring Tony Award winner Lillias White, Tony nominee Liz Callaway, Seth Rudetsky, Sydney Morton, and Alexa Green. He has music directed cabarets at 54 Below in New York City and is a regular performer at Club Café in Boston.
Luke is a 2019 graduate of North Quincy High School and a recent graduate of Berklee College of Music, where he earned a B.M. in Professional Music.
