Join Edwin Barker, Boston Symphony Orchestra's longest running Principal Double Bassist, for an evening of Duos & Sonatas at Ventfort Hall.
BSO Principal Double Bass Edwin Barker and guest artists serenade you in the billiard room. Edwin is joined by guest artists Yevgeny Kutik on the violin, Blaise Dejardin on the cello, and Deborah DeWolfe Emery on the piano. The quartet will be playing works by Handel – Halvorsen, Rossini, Sofia Gubaidulina, and Schubert.
Freshly retired from 40 year tenure with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Ventfort Hall is proud to be a new artistic home for Mr. Barker’s performances.
