Civil War Memorial Flag Raising and Dedication

As stated by the United States Flag Code, 'It is the universal custom to display the flag only from sunrise to sunset on buildings and stationary flagstaffs in the open. However, when we desire a patriotic effect, the flag may be displayed twenty-four hours a day if properly illuminated during the hours of darkness.' This embodies the spirit of our project to illuminate not just the flag, but also our community with patriotism and pride.

You are cordially invited to join us for a special ceremony dedicated to honoring our veterans through the Freedom Illumination Project's Flag Raising in Haverhill's Monument Square. Hosted by Frank Bertolino and Justine Maguire of The North Shore Realty Group, this event will feature a poignant tribute to our veterans, including a flag raising ceremony, heartfelt remarks from local dignitaries, and a special musical performance.
