Cape Cod Canal Day

Cape Cod Canal Day is held in September. It features a 5k Road Race, Cornhole Tournament, Entertainment. Food Trucks. Artisan. Craft, and Information Vendors.

Join us for a narrated roundtrip excursion as we travel across the famous Cape Cod Canal Railroad Bridge and along the canal to the historic village of Sandwich, then to the Great Salt Marsh in West Barnstable before returning to Buzzards Bay. Narration includes history about the building of the Cape Cod Canal.

Join the daylong event (11 a.m. – 6 p.m.) which takes place on Saturday, September 16th in the recently renovated Buzzards Bay Park. The Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce features this event. Admission to the event is Free and train rides are at a significantly reduced rate. Activities onsite include:
