Cambridge Brewing Company, Cambridge, MA

In business since 1989, Cambridge Brewing Company has won numerous awards over the years for their beer. Choosing to work mostly with businesses that share their devotion to sustainability, they are beloved by the community. Located in a refurbished mill building, they feature a full-service restaurant in addition to their beer.

Trillium Brewing, Canton, MA

Opening just four years ago, Trillium Brewing relies on farmhouse brewing methods with a modern twist. They pride themselves on their ales and beers. Check out their Wild Beer Program at their Canton location.

Buzzards Bay Brewing Company, Westport, MA

Brewing beer from American grown wheat and hops, the Buzzards Bay Brewing Company serves up beer and ale in their tap room. Visitors are welcome to tour the brewery at any time. Just check the website for hours of operation.

Jack’s Abby, Framingham, MA

Enjoy pints and growlers at Jack’s Abby. A microbrewery, they brew only lagers. Check out their tasting room, the great food that emerges from their kitchen, and their gift shop, too. They were named “Best of Boston” last year.

Wachusett Brewing Company, Westminster, MA

Inspired by other craft breweries, Wachusett Brewing Company founders began their operation in 1993. Guests may enjoy two 2-ounce samples of beer when they attend a tour. The tour is free, but a donation is suggested. Donations are donated to local charities. 

Tree House Brewing Company, Monson, MA

Known for their wide array of ales, Tree House Brewing Company is a draft only brewery, and their offerings vary depending on the season. Cans and growlers are available on site during specific business hours. Check the website before you visit.

Notch Brewing, Salem, MA

Known as the first U.S. brewery to brew and sell Session Beer. Notch Brewing features an on-site brewery, tap room and “biergarten.” They offer free tours on Saturdays at 5 p.m., and will make arrangements for private tours upon request. 

Cape Cod Beer, Hyannis, MA

The brewery at Cape Cod Beer prides itself on its community mindedness. A favorite stop for the Cape’s summer residents, they offer tours and tastings. Their growlers to go are very popular.

Samuel Adams Brewery, Boston, MA

Credited for beginning the craft beer revolution about 30 years ago, Samuel Adams Brewery in Boston is still creating amazing new brews. Tours are available on Monday through Saturday, and they run every 40 minutes.
