Art in the Stacks: Bernica Wilcox

Bernica Wilcox is a surrealist painter who focuses on femininity and nature, using acrylic paints as well as watercolors and ink. She creates unique pieces that she wants people to question and ponder. Her work focuses on the female perspective and what occurs when it is highlighted in a creative way. These pieces follow femininity through different phases of life using surrealism and perspective. 

Art in the Stacks is an initiative of the Friends of the Library to provide artists an opportunity to show their work, and for library patrons to enjoy art throughout the year.
