Boston Meshk Ensemble is a dynamic group of musicians dedicated to bringing the rich cultural heritage of Turkish music to the Boston community! The ensemble takes its name, Meshk, from the traditional Turkish musical education system, which relies on repetition and memory rather than written notes, and is passed down from master to apprentice.

Founded in the summer of 2022 by a diverse group of music lovers from all walks of life, the Boston Meshk Ensemble has been meeting every Sunday to rehearse a repertoire of classical and folk tunes from Turkey. They aim to foster a vibrant community around the music they love, performing at events for good causes and having fun along the way!
