The Nola Coffee Festival Celebrates The Unique Heritage Of Our Coffee Industry And Salutes The Talented Community Of Coffee Professionals Who Create Our Daily Caffeinated Happiness. This Annual Festival/Trade Show Will Celebrate All Things Coffee.

COFFEE INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS + CONSUMER DAY

Exhibitors from across the nation and across the globe will gather in New Orleans to share their latest in new coffee products, equipment and brewing techniques. Industry speakers and special skills classes will be offered throughout the day.

9am - 4pm

Exhibit Hall is open at 9am to VIP ticket holders; 10am for all others
Education classrooms open to all at 9am
Farm to Cup Display - presented by Cafe de Mi Pueblo, PortNOLA, Dupuy Storage and Community Coffee
NOLA Tattoo Parlor - presented by Ace Tattoo
Festival Merchandise Store - accepts cash and credit card payments
Micro Roasters Village - these tables feature the best in products/services from smaller companies
Coffeeshop City - sample coffee from more than a dozen of the best brewers in the region
Latte Art Demonstration Stage and Workshops - sharpen your barista skills
Childrens Coffee Activity Area - hands on fun for coffee leaders of the future
Coffeehouse Music Stage - meet local performers who play great live music / sponsored by Westfeldt Brothers

Afternoon Classroom Presentations:
Barista Classroom - ten sessions with industry experts speaking about topics such as: advanced brewing methods, grinders, coffee origin attributes, dairy/non-dairy essentials, water essentials, sensory training and customer service essentials.
Roaster Classroom - eight sessions with industry experts and mentor level roasters with topics such as: new roasting equipment overview, advanced roasting techniques, microbiology basics, coffee cost dynamics, supply chain opportunities, and varietals overview.
Coffee Shop Owner/manager Classroom - coffee cost dynamics, train the trainer, intro to mocktails, career pathways, real estate primer, coffee equipment essentials, solving service company search issues, and “how to ruin good coffee”- a study in coffee execution.
Documentary Video Classroom - we will feature a half dozen of the best industry documentary films and show you how to view them at home.
Consumer Coffee History Classroom - New Orleans was the original “Coffee town, USA” and has more than a century of great stories to tell/share. We are lining up state historians, food writers and food historians that will share these great stories of how coffee and New Orleans have always been glorious partners.

Coffee Cantata Performance (Latte Art demo styage in Exhibit Hall) - 25 min performance of the J.S Bach classic by the New Orleans Opera Association.
