These great University of Kentucky-area restaurants and pizza joints are open around your schedule. From Cajun to Italian and sushi to sandwiches, there’s something for everyone. Here are our favorites.

Tolly-Ho, Lexington, KY

Up late working on a project or finishing the paper that’s due tomorrow and hear your stomach growling? Tolly-Ho on Broadway is open 24 hours a day and offers great burgers, milkshakes, and desserts that will get you filled up in no time. Convenient ordering online for pickup or eat in when you get there. Group ordering is available, too.

The Local Taco, Lexington, KY

Combining great Tex-Mex favorites with southern culture has been elevated to an art form at The Local Taco on South Limestone. Good food without all the preservatives and MSGs that many eateries add, this restaurant is open until 10 p.m. on weekdays and until 12 a.m. on weekends. You can order your favorite tacos, enchiladas, salad, quesadillas, and sides online so it’s ready when you get there.

QDOBA Mexican Eats, Lexington, KY

QDOBA Mexican Eats, located on Euclid Avenue is open until 4:30 a.m. every night except Sunday, and believes in creating a taste that lingers in your memory and keeps you coming back for more. Fresh food prepared in house is what makes the difference and when you say you like it spicy, that’s what you’ll get. Breakfast is served all day, every day.

Goodfellas Pizzeria, Lexington, KY

If it’s Italian food you’re craving for those late nights, head down to Goodfellas Pizzeria. They also have subs, salads, and desserts.

Sushi Blue, Lexington, KY

If you crave late-night sushi, then Sushi Blue is the place for you. Located on Pasadena Drive, this is Japanese at its finest. Bourbon n’ Toulouse, Lexington, KY

Not open as late at night as some places, it’s worth going out a little earlier just for the experience of eating at Bourbon n’Toulouse. Located on Euclid Avenue, you’ll have some of the best Cajun and creole favorites around. You have to try the chicken etouffeé when you’re there, but you can’t go wrong with the jambalaya, red beans and smoked sausage, or the white chicken chili. But get there early enough—they close at 10 p.m.
