Duncan Cultural Center Museum And Art Gallery
About Us:
In 1986, Hamilton Richardson Duncan graciously donated the Duncan House to the City of Greenville. Hamilton was the grandson of William Graham Duncan, Muhlenberg Coal Baron and builder of the house in 1912. Officially opening in 1989, the Duncan House became Muhlenberg County's first historical museum and art gallery. The purpose of the Duncan Center today is to preserve the art, history and culture of Muhlenberg County and Kentucky and to provide opportunities to see and experience visual arts, provide access to historical collections and to restore and maintain the integrity of the Duncan Home.
Online we promote our proud history through stories, images, and videos. Whether you are a native of Muhlenberg County or simply interested in the area, you will find something of interest at the Duncan Center and on the Center Website.
