Berea Celtic Fest and Gathering

It is fair to say that the beginning of, what is now considered a Berea signature event, sprung out of wakes of the former Berea Int'l Festival, regular live music events at the former Main Street Street and at the Berea Center for the Arts (the former Berea Movie Theater) combined with a genuine desire to grow Celtic and especially Irish folk music in Central Kentucky  in an environment that was already known for embracing numerous shades of The Arts.

2:00 : Knoxville folks, Chad, Jason.
3:00 : Turlach Boylan.
4:00 : Nashville folks, Chris, Bubba.
5:00 : Musicians move to Boone Tavern Patio.

Event: Bodhran workshop by Jeremy Wade, assisted by Justin Bridges.

3:15 PM - Event: Ceili and Irish step dance workshop led by Amelia Maniscalco, McTaggert Irish Dancers.
Fee: $5, or more

2:00  : Jeni Balcom on Irish harp
3:00  : John Skelton - flutes and Celtic bagpipes
4:00  : Ms Doyle - Songs of Ireland.
Fee: Each event $5. All three presentations $10

7:30 PM - 9:45 PM - Celtic Celebration Concert
Fee: $20, students $5.
