Wichita Veterans Day Parade

Welcome to the first information letter for the 2024 Spirit AeroSystems Veterans Day Parade, Saturday,This is to go over some specifics about the parade and significant changes we are making. It is also your initial invitation to participate in the parade and the numerous activities at the post-parade celebration at Exploration Place, 300 N McLean Blvd. Please pass this information to all the members in your group, co-workers, friends and families and ask them to do the same. We want to get the word out to the largest audience possible and make this another parade to remember.

The theme for the parade is: "Veterans Strong – Honoring Generations of Kansas Heroes". We specifically want to recognize and honor the Kansas families who have supported our military, generation after generation. As in years past, the parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. , in downtown Wichita. The parade is coordinated by the Thomas Hopkins American Legion Post 4. Parade headquarters is at Post 4, 816 North Water St.
