Olathe Red, White and Blue - Mahaffie's Independence Day Celebration

Celebrate the Red, White & Blue in Olathe with a variety of Independence Day-themed activities throughout the holiday week!

Mahaffies' Independence Day Celebration activities may include:

- A Reading of the Declaration of Independence followed by cannon fire at 12 p.m., and 2 p.m.
- Meet Lady Columbia and Uncle Sam
- Play Vintage Base Ball at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. - Review rules of the game
- Cookstove demonstrations
- Mahaffie Farmhouse open to visit
- Ice cream, root beer, and root beer floats available for purchase.
- Regular living history admission fees apply: $9/adult, $7/child ages 5 to 11, no charge for children age 4 and under. Olathe residents receive $2 off admission.
