Medicine Lodge Peace Treaty Festival

Memorial Peace Park is the site for the annual Peace Treaty Festival, held the last weekend in September. The park has three main areas: the Pageant Amphitheater, the Rodeo Arena and the Powwow Grounds. The Pageant Amphitheater has been the site of the Peace Treaty Pageant since 1927.

Every year the Peace Treaty Festival features rodeos, a powwow, a historical night show, children’s activities, vendors and more.

8am - 12:00pm: Craft Fair

10am - 5pm: Stockade Museum and Carry Nation Home hours

10am - 11am: Church service

10am - 4pm: Helicopter rides

12:00pm- 2:30pm: Peace Treaty Pageant

2:30pm - 7pm: Powwow
Gourd dancing, authentic vendors and food

Followed by socials and contest dances
