Attendees Will Learn Authentic Hula During This Interactive Session. Join Kumu (Teacher) Jeremy Kirk And Haumana (Students) Of The Southwestern College World Music Ensemble To Learn And Experience Fundamental Hula Steps, A Brief Discussion Of History And Culture Of Hawaii And Polynesia, And Share Mana (Spiritual Energy) And Aloha (Love) Together As We Celebrate Arkalalah 2023. No Previous Experience Required And All Ages Are Welcome!

11:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. - Etzanoa Exhibit: The Classroom On The South Side Of The Burford Theater (118 S Summit). Etzanoa Is A Historical Wichita City, Located In Present-Day Arkansas City, Ks, Near The Arkansas River, That Flourished Between 1450 And 1700. Dubbed "The Great Settlement" By Spanish Explorers Who Visited The Site, Etzanoa May Have Housed 20,000 Wichita People.
Noon - 10:00 P.M. - Ben Givens Park - Stop By The Beer Garden. Have An Ice-Cold Beer While Visiting With Old Friends. No One Under 21 Will Be Allowed To Enter.
Noon - 2:30 P.M. Cornhole Tournament Sponsored By Ksok/Bob Fm And The Arkalalah Committee. For Registration/Information Call 620-442-6077 Or Stop By 106 N. Summit During Business Hours. 1st - $150; 2nd - $100; 3rd - $75. Tournament Will Be Played In Block Of 200 S. Summit. (In Case Of Inclement Weather, The Tournament Will Be Held At Agri-Business Building)

2:30 - Judging For Prizes For Children’s Parade At Summit And Chestnut.
3:00 P.M. - Children’s Parade Sponsored By Vfw Post #1254 And Auxiliaries - No Pre-Entry Required.
