A Night Out In Sleepy Hollow
Join us for this special Irvington tradition where you will hear haunted tales from our writing contest winners, enjoy spooky delicious beverages from our friends at Snug, and watch a special performance from the witches of Irvington! Plus, what halloween is complete without a reading of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow? Irvington was named for Washington Irving (born April 3, 1783, died November 28, 1859), an American short story writer, historian, and diplomat of the early 19th century. He is best known for the short stories “Rip Van Winkle" (1819) and “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” (1820).
