The Slippery Noodle Inn, Indianapolis, IN

For a little twist on your holiday weekend, check out the Slippery Noodle Inn. Founded in 1850, it is Indiana's oldest bar. Come hang out, jam a little to some blues, and enjoy the atmosphere. You must be 21 years of age with a valid ID, and their website states if you are 27 or younger, at least two picture IDs are required, so be sure to have proper identification. The Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Arts, located in downtown Indianapolis, offers an opportunity to explore. The museum's mission is "to inspire an appreciation and understanding of the art, history, and cultures of the American West and indigenous peoples of North America."

This event is sponsored by the Porter-Starke Services Foundation with proceeds going to mental health and wellness programs. The race consists of a 10K and 5K walk/run.
