Roehler's Christmas Tree Farm - Centerville

Closed for the 2020 Season

About Us:

The farm’s story began when Ron Roehler took a motorcycle ride down the country roads of Fayette County, Indiana and noticed a 153 acre farm for sale. On Christmas Eve 1979 papers were signed, and Ron, Elizabeth, Scott and Ginny Roehler were in the Christmas tree business in Central Indiana.

Ron and Elizabeth had been in the Christmas tree business in California for many years. Scott and Ginny had no experience in farming, as they relied heavily on the expertise of their partners. They soon found out there was a large difference in growing trees in Indiana and California! Forming the Indiana Christmas Growers Association helped in shortening their learning curve.

Over the years, many family members and friends have spent weekends, holidays, and vacations working at the farm. Their crew of “non-farmers” spent many hours doing everything from planting to harvesting to make this venture a success.

The family has since experienced setbacks with the passing of Ron Roehler and their grandparents. Their two sons have stepped up to help fill the gaps and fulfill the legacy of the farm. They have been fortunate enough to have many good friends (that are more like family) who have stuck with them to help provide a tradition your family can enjoy for years.
