7th Annual Oktoberfest

Moontown is throwing its 7th Annual Oktoberfest – a raucous celebration of the birthplace of dank beer, complete with live music, friendly competitions, the tapping of our Oktoberfest lager, and delicious German-inspired fare. Early bird tickets are available on Friday, July 12th through August 1st. General Admission tickets start on August 2nd until it is sold out.

The 21 and up party will last all afternoon on Saturday, September 28th and will take over Moontown Brewing Company’s entire facility (brewpub, event space, and beer garden).

We’ll be tapping our Oktoberfest lager, “Follow the Lederhosen” at 2pm with discounted Moontown beer ($6/pint!), German-inspired menu items, and live music from Hot Like Mars. There will be a “best-dressed” contest, stein-holding competition, water balloon toss, attendance raffle prizes and more! Space is limited to ticketed guests only, so grab those tickets now – this will be a day you don’t want to miss.

Schedule of Events:

2:00PM: Doors open -- Food and beverages available to purchase. We’ll have yard games, beer pong and flip cup. Free to play and open to all guests.

3:00PM: Welcome and official Oktoberfest beer tapping with Cody and Bobby. Enjoy the passing of das boot and let the party begin!

3:30PM: “Best Dressed” Contest: Dust off your dirndl and loosen your lederhosen! We're giving away a $50 gift card and a commemorative stein to the best dressed Frau and Fräulein at the party. Open to all in attendance.

4:00PM: Balloon Toss in beer garden with prizes.

5:00PM: Stein Holding Competition: The ultimate feat of strength. Open to all who want to jump up and take their turn. The last standing man and last standing woman holding their steins will each win a dank prize (details coming soon!) + a whole year of bragging rights. You don’t want to miss this highlight of the day.

7:00PM – 10:00PM: Hot Like Mars (Formerly North 41) is performing in The 1915 Room. The band is a dynamic blend of rock, funk and jazz, with the danceability of pop music and sophisticated musicianship that keeps you hanging on every solo.

11:00PM - Event concludes

Yard games, beer pong, flip cup and corn hole will be available for all guests all day!

Food and Beverage:

All Moontown beers will be discounted to $6 for this one day only! Wine, liquor and non alcoholic beverages will also be available.

Please note that space is limited for this event. Moontown’s brewpub will be closed to the public this entire day, and entry will be limited to ticket holders only. There will be NO lunch service available in the brewpub prior to Oktoberfest’s 2pm start.
