About the Show: The Talking Dead blends expert interactive magic and historical storytelling to reveal the world of the Victorian Seance with intriguing characters, eerie happenings, and baffling revelations. Audiences are invited to see what made the believers believe, and what made the skeptics skeptical. And yes, the dead do talk.
About John Shore: John Shore is a life-long magician. His interest in Seances grew out of his research and scholarship relating to the history and performance of magic. Magicians and Spirit Mediums have a long and twisty history. So, a serious magician can end up with many books, biographies, and manuscripts related to spirit communications.
As a magician, he has worked all over the country and mostly focuses on events tailored to tourism and corporate groups in Kentucky. He has created several tourist related venues including The Kentucky Magic Dinner Theater, which ran for 10 years, and the RJ Corman Magic Dinner Train which ran for three years. He also has programs that combine magic with Bourbon tasting (He lives in Bourbon Country so of course)
