About the Show: Twelve-year-old Ashleigh rules the Lady Jean Ladies, South Florida’s most exclusive horse club. When they receive news that their beloved stables are being sold and their horses sold for meat, the girls stop at nothing to save their beautiful steeds. As their plans fail, the girls turn on each other, and years of middle school drama bubble up to a shocking conclusion. Horse Girls is a play about pre-teens: their obsessions, their insecurities, and their desperate need to find a place in the world.
About The Production Team: This team is a collaboration between dear friends Hannah Embree, Susannah Quinn, Elizabeth Carrier, and Evangeline Bouw. They are thrilled to come together to laugh and create something they are proud of sharing with their Indy community. They share an artistic training and vocabulary that make their collaboration a joy.
