About the Show: Jackson and Frank are best friends; they have been since meeting in art school. Which is why it was no shock to Frank when Jackson reveals his feelings for their mutual art-school mate, Monica. Jackson's quest for love soon takes a back burner when Monica learns of her family's art gallery space's bankruptcy. Finally, adding just enough spice of life to the mix, Martin, Frank's obnoxious younger brother, announces that he'll be in town for the week...and he's staying with Frank. Tensions will finally come to a head, revealing secrets about the art-school trio that are as old as the friendship that binds them.
'Gallery' may sound familiar because this will be the second time that it has been presented at IndyFringe. 'Gallery' was local playwright Casey Ross's first entry into the festival with the original 2007 run of Gallery, that actually starred the play's current 2024 director, Dane Rogers (who played Frank). This retrospective revisiting of the play brings back the IndyFringe hit that helped put local writer Ross on the Fringe map in a new, mature revised script featuring a cast of favorite local actors, seen on some of the top stages in Indiana: Eric Reiberg (Jackson), Jay Hemphill (Frank), Michelle Waffard (Monica), & Ryan Powell (Martin). There are just 3 chances to relive this 'classic' Fringe comedy, again or for the first time.
