Huntington County Historical Museum
Our Mission: To collect, preserve, interpret, and promote interest in the history of Huntington County
Visitors trace the history of Huntington County from prehistory, Miami Indian and French Voyageur period, Canal era and pioneer settlement to today. In 1999 the museum was relocated from the fourth floor of the Courthouse to its present location, with over 8,000 square feet of exhibit space.
In 2009-10, over 400 Huntington County students learned to appreciate their heritage through school tours. Groups and clubs schedule their meetings to include a guided tour of the museum.
