Harvest Homecoming is a group of volunteers dedicated to providing a family oriented festival. It unites the community in a spirit of fellowhsip and is committed to continuous improvement.
Schedule of Events:
12:00 AM: Floyd County Parks and Recreation Harvest Pickleball Cup
Adult Divisions:
Mixed, Men's and Women's Doubles: 3.0-and-Below • 3.5 • 4.0-and-Above
Senior Divisions:
Ages 60-and-above • Men's Doubles • Women's Doubles
Costs: $40 per player for first adult division $20 per player for additional adult division
$30 per player for senior divisions

10:00 AM: Harvest Baking Contest
Contest entries for your homemade pie, cakes, cookies and breads should be dropped off between 10:00-11:00 am at Sweet Stuff Bakery located at 323 E Spring St., New Albany, IN 47150
No professional bakers, please.
Judging: Begins at noon and winners will be announced at 2:00 pm.
Contestants may not enter more than 2 items per category. Entries must be fully baked and submitted in disposable containers. Each entry must include a separate paper with the name and ingredients of your baked good and ingredients used.
Scoring: Each contestant will be assigned a number for judging. Please do not put your name on any baked entry. Entries will be judged on taste, appearance, and original use of pumpkin and/or fall fruits and vegetables.
Prizes:
1st prize - $50 Sweet Stuff Bakery Gift Card
2nd prize - $25 Sweet Stuff Bakery Gift Card
3rd prize - $10 Sweet Stuff Bakery Gift Card

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Harvest Homecoming Family Nature Walk
Elementary school-age children and their families are invited to discover Indiana forests! We'll learn why our forest are a valuable resource, how to identify trees we find in our forest and enjoy a guided walk along the park's beautiful 3/10 of a mile forest trail.
This is a free event.

1:45 PM: New Albany Track Club Harvest Kids Run
Parking Lot Behind Carnegie Center at Bank St & E Spring St, New Albany, IN
Annual final race for the NATC school series brings kids and families downtown offering the kid runners a different environment for the race.
Kids strategically run 2 short one mile round-trip races along part of the parade route ahead of the parade to help involve the community.
All school-age ranges are seen in this event & season-end meeting follows at end of the race. First race starts at 1:45 pm second race starts at 2:30 pm.

2:30 PM: Harvest Homecoming Opening Ceremonies
The official kick off to the 2024 Harvest Homecoming Festival complete with music, full parade narration and broadcast (WNAS), special guests, various food vendors, and the best seats in the house for the annual Harvest Homecoming Parade.
Location: 8th & Spring Street - Orange Bleachers, E 8th St & E Spring St, New Albany, IN 47150.
3:00 PM: Harvest Homecoming Parade
Come experience over-the-top floats, vintage cars, and loud bands with our Autumn Sock-Hop parade. The parade kicks off at 3:00 pm from New Albany High School, marches down Vincennes Street, then takes a right on Spring Street, and ends on Bank Street.
