Shipshewana Fall Crafters Fair, Shipshewana, IN
One of the biggest festivals in Indiana is the Shipshewana Fall Crafters Fair! Held in downtown Shipshewana in the heart of beautiful Amish Country, the fair features crafters from different areas of Indiana as well as outside the state. It's a tribute to crafting and the culture. There will be crafters, demonstrations, including Threshing, and gospel music. The Fall Crafters Fair is a chance to experience Amish culture and Amish country at its finest in Indiana.
Parke County Covered Bridge Festival, Rockville, IN
Another one of Indiana’s largest fall festivals is the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival in Rockville. The festival itself is held in eight cities throughout Southern Indiana: Bellmore, Mansfield, Rosedale, Bloomingdale, Mecca, Tangier, Bridgeton, and Montezuma. Visitors will see a variety of different activities, crafters, vendors and more as they tour each of the covered bridges.
New Earth Festival, Atlanta, IN
Held on the fourth weekend in September, the New Earth Festival in Atlanta has been a favorite of Hoosiers since 1974, the year of the first festival. With over 600 vendors featuring fine arts, crafts, antiques, food, and more, the New Earth Festival is Atlanta’s most popular attraction. There are also a variety of bands and musicians that will be featured, and range from worship to bluegrass, country, rock, and more!
Tipton County Pork Festival, Tipton, IN
Looking for good pork and fun activities for the whole family? Come to the annual Tipton County Pork Festival in Tipton. There is live music and entertainment, a wide variety of pork food vendors featuring traditional festival food and international delights, and an arts and crafts marketplace and art show.
Lotus World Music and Arts Festival, Bloomington, IN
Come to southern Bloomington this year for the annual Lotus World Music and Arts Festival to hear music from around the world and experience art from over 20 countries (Cuba, Iran, Venezuela, Ethiopia, Denmark, India, and so many more!) The Lotus World Music and Arts Festival was established in 1994 and is part of the non-profit Lotus Education and Arts Foundation. Their mission is to create opportunities to experience, celebrate, and explore the diversity of the world’s cultures through music and the arts.
Nappanee Apple Festival, Nappanee, IN
Join the wonderful people of Nappanee for their annual apple festival. Home to Indiana’s largest seven-foot, fresh oven apple pie, the Nappanee Apple Festival has two stages for entertainment, carnival rides, a parade with military fly-over, the Miss Apple Blossom scholarship pageant, and so many more fun, family-friendly activities to partake in! As you walk downtown, you will find plenty of your favorite fresh apple products, such as apple fritters, apple dumplings, applesauce, and apple bread!

Who doesn't love the fifties? The cars, the infamous poodle skirts, the music! Come to Lebanon this year and step back in time to 1950! There will be live entertainment, a street dance, and the biggest hit of the festival: Tribute to Elvis! For the kids, there will be inflatables, D.A.R.E. officers, firetrucks, and games!
Morgan County Fall Foliage Festival, Martinsville, IN
Come to the Morgan County Fall Foliage Festival this year and help them celebrate decades of fun, and the state's longest parade! Take part in the festival's eating contest! Are you a poet? Take a chance and enter the festival's poetry contest? Do you like photography? Enter the photography contest and show everyone your best work! The most special event of the festival is the Golden Wedding. Couples who married in 1967, the year of the first festival, will be given a small maple leaf golden plaque to celebrate!
