Whitney’s Walk for Suicide Prevention and Awareness

Whitney’s Walk for Suicide Prevention & Awareness is held the last Saturday in July each year at Jubilee State Park in Brimfield, Illinois. Money from Whitney's Walk is donated to Carle Health Center for Philanthropy - Greater Peoria to benefit Hult Center for Healthy Living. Hult Center increases awareness for suicide prevention through:

Youth and adult mental health and suicide prevention programs

Skills-based mental health trainings for adults

Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) Gatekeeper Suicide Prevention Training

School consultations to ensure best practices in suicide prevention efforts

6:45am - Shirt and Bib Pickup / Run Registration Opens

7:30am - Run Registration Closes

7:40am - Route 150 Entrance CLOSES - Use back entrance only!

7:45am - Walk Registration Closes

7:55am - 5K Run START

8:00am - 5K Walk START

9:20am - 5K Run Awards Announced
