Operation Blessing with Saint Sabina Church

1-800-TruckWreck and Saint Sabina Church are teaming up for the second time this holiday season to give away meals. Over 2,000 individuals will receive a dinner to go with dessert and a beverage. The event is free and open to the community. Meals will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. 

The December events follow a series of giveaways 1-800-TruckWreck hosted in November to kick off the season, distributing 2,000 turkeys, $12,000 in groceries, and 1,200 coats and winter clothing items around the Chicagoland area. This event in partnership with St. Sabina Church will close out the 2024 year of giving by spreading a little cheer before Christmas. 

1-800-TruckWreck has been dedicated to giving back to the local Chicago community since coming to the city one year ago. Since January 2023, the organization has given away more than $650,000 in food, essential items, scholarships, school supplies, groceries, and more by partnering with local organizations in the Chicago community.
