Independence Day Celebration

The July 4th Celebration begins with a Rib Fest Contest at Veterans Park, followed by a day of fun, food and games. The celebration concludes with the best fireworks display in the south suburbs.

The 4th of July festivities are almost here and we have exactly what you and your family will enjoy before the fireworks come out at night! The South Holland 4th of July Family Festival starts at 12pm on Thursday at Veterans Memorial Park. All kinds of activities will be available such as:

- Bounce Houses
- Giant Slide
- Balloon Artists
- Food Trucks
- Giant Obstacle Couse
- Music by Soul 2 the Bone and the South Holland Municipal Band

Also, at 2pm the South Holland Little League will be playing their All-Star game, which is free for all to watch!

The park will close at 5pm to prepare for the fireworks show and reopen at 6pm, with fireworks starting shortly after dusk.
