Join us for the ultimate outdoor fitness challenge in Bloomington, Illinois!
The City of Bloomington’s Parks and Recreation department in partnership with Dust2Glory Fitness and Certified Spartan SGX Coach Dustin Webb are excited for this year’s Hill of a Race Obstacle Run taking place on Saturday, August 17th with the first wave beginning rain or shine at 8:00 AM at Ewing Park II in Bloomington, Illinois.
The three-mile run will include at least 25 obstacles which focus on lifting, carrying, climbing, crawling, and tests of agility and balance. This ages 7+ race is the ultimate outdoor fitness challenge with a course set up for recreational enthusiasts as well as competitive racers.
“The Hill of a Race obstacle run has become a popular event for families and competitive athletes alike,” said Neal McKenry Program Manager, adding “Parks is excited to once again partner with the talented Dust2Glory staff.”
Recreational and competitive waves make this a great event for anyone from families and beginners to the serious obstacle runner. Youths aged 7 – 13 must participate with a registered adult.
Registration is going on now at hillofarace.com through August 13. There will be no “day of” onsite registration.
Participants can pick up race packets on Friday, August 16 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Dust2Glory Gym (716 E Empire St Suite G, Bloomington, IL), or on the morning of race day at Ewing Park II
