Hawthorn Woods 4th of July Parade

Lagoon Drive to Village Hall

Celebrate America and our freedom with a march through town! Since 1776, July 4th has been celebrated as the birth of American independence. Hawthorn Woods is proud to gather our community for a celebratory parade to honor the occasion. We end our celebration with a flag-raising ceremony and a rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner at Village Hall.

Registration for the Village of Hawthorn Woods 4th of July Parade is currently open. Entrance is free to all groups, except political offices and organizations. Parade line-up begins at 9:15am; specific instructions regarding line-up will be sent out 1-week prior to the event.

Parade Route

Road Closures: Lagoon, Falkirk, and Carlisle roads will be closed the morning of July 4th due to parade festivities. Please plan your travels accordingly.

Carlisle will close to traffic at 9:00am.

Lagoon and Falkirk will close to traffic at 9:45am.

All roads will open immediately after the parade passes.

Parking: When parking on the street to attend the parade, please remember to park on the odd-side of the street, and to leave a clearing for emergency vehicles.
