5PM: Austin Hopkins – Country Twang and Modern Pop

Growing up the youngest of five brothers, Austin was exposed to a variety of music.  From Michael Jackson, to Nirvana, Aerosmith and the Beatles, he enjoyed it all, but there was something about country music that spoke to him.

Once he discovered Garth Books, he found himself trying to replicate Garth’s sound.  From that point Austin knew he wanted to have a career in singing. He would sing along with the radio and would record mix tapes. He found himself enthralled with the structure, lyrics and stories in songs, which ultimately inspired him to become a singer-songwriter.

He grew up and still resides in the suburbs of Chicago. His distinctive voice gives him a unique mix between country twang and modern pop.  Austin bases his music on real life situations so the listener
can really relate to the lyrics.

6PM: GooRoos – 80's Tribute Band

GooRoos is an incredible band of top tier musicians that explodes on stage with their exciting production, "Tribute to the mega-powered radio hits from the 80's thru today”. GooRoos plays the songs you love to sing, dance and rock out to as well as comfort tunes to just sit back and enjoy. For the past ten years GooRoos has prided themselves on presenting music in the rock n roll spirit - live, without any prerecorded tracks, making every show a unique experience. From their performances with Florida Georgia Line to Asia to Smash Mouth, GooRoos has been around the block and knows how to rock.
