Great Elgin Pipe Organ Tour - at St. John's Lutheran

The second stop on the Great Elgin Pipe Organ Tour is at St. John's Lutheran Church and their Weickhardt/Gruber Organ dating from 1912. The program will include works by Bach and Mendelssohn as well as hymn prelude arrangements by Manz, Hustad, Burkhardt, and Willan, with the corresponding hymns sung by the audience. The program will be jointly performed by St. John's music director and organist, Dale Woock, and Dr. Jeff Neufeld, music director and organist at neighboring First Congregational and the tour organizer. Admission is free, and a free-will offering will be taken to support Hurricane Helene recovery efforts. A reception will also follow the concert.
