Da Deer Run Run
This will be the forth year of conducting the race at Timber Pointe Nature Center. The course will consist of two loops, the course will loop the through Timber Pointe running some of the sections of the Run the Wood Race in October, with some twists and turns. Race starts at 11:00 AM. Partial proceeds of this event will benefit Timber Pointe Nature Center. Post race food and beverage will be hosted inside Stern lodge which is near the start/finish line.
This is a cross country style event, however most of the course is one wide double track, with some gravel road sections. Wildlife such as deer, wild turkey and also possible bald eagles can be seen during the race.
This is a trail run and we plan to run this event regardless of weather conditions, including snow, rain, mud. .
