Burr Ridge Art Fair: Burr Ridge, Illinois (4th Annual)

The Burr Ridge Art Fair on Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9 takes place at Burr Ridge Village Center, a beautiful upscale lifestyle venue combining high-end living with stores and restaurants. Juried artists from around the country will be showcasing their work at all price points and mediums including paintings, wall art, jewelry, furniture, ceramics, wearables, fashion, accessories, 3D art pieces, sculptures and more – a wonderful opportunity to purchase original art for your home, your office or yourself! In addition to the art, guests will enjoy live music, plenty of food and drink options at nearby restaurants, and a variety of activities for kids in the Kids Art Zone including face painting, art fest bingo, spin art, and a new self-portrait project. Be sure to visit the “Kids Art Stop” booths where artists welcome children to learn more about the art-making process and the very popular “Start to Paint” on-site painting classes. Artist booth chats and demonstrations add to the experience, and festival goers with strollers and wheelchairs can enjoy easy access to all booths. Attendees are invited to bring their gently used wall art to the festival where it will be donated to the Chicago Furniture Bank, a local nonprofit that distributes furnishings and art to those leaving shelters and moving into permanent housing. Several artists from this show are participating in Amdur Productions’ Green Ribbon Project. Artists place a green ribbon on a piece of art in their booth, and if the piece is sold, 10% of the sale will be donated to Amdur’s charitable partner, which is the Chicago Furniture Bank.
