Annual Lincoln Square Ravenswood Apple Fest

Usher in the Fall with the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce's 37th Annual Apple Fest!  The festivities will take place on Saturday, October 5th and Sunday, October 6th from 9am - 6pm.  Apple Fest is a long standing tradition in Lincoln Square, bringing community together to celebrate the beginning of autumn.

Apple Fest kicks off fall in Chicago with a weekend chock full of fun!  From local bands jamming out at the North Stage, to an array of activities for children in the Mark Mackey State Farm Kids Zone, there is sure to be something for everyone.  And don't forget to bring your four-legged friends for the Pooch Costume Contest, hosted by Urban Pooch at the start of the weekend.

North Stage

12:00pm - 2:30pm - The Flat Cats, Swinging Jazz and Blues

The Flat Cats play a wide range of vintage and modern music rooted in the hottest swinging jazz and blues, contemporary classics and timeless standards. Listen, tap your foot, or cut a rug on the dance floor, you are sure to be entertained by this multi-talented group!  

3:30pm - 6:00pm - Jonas Friddle Band, Americana and Folk

Jonas Friddle is a gifted singer, songwriter and Old-Time banjo player with a collection of Chicago's finest players in his band. The music entertains as it deftly explores just about every nook and cranny of modern folk, from revivalist antique appropration to protest songs to modern love songs. His tunes bear the marks of a musician who's done time in pubs and square dance halls.

9:30am - 11:00am: 13th Annual Pooch Costume Contest, by Urban Pooch Canine Life Center and Urban Pooch Training and Fitness

An amazingly fun opportunity to parade your special pooch in front of our special panel of judges in hope of winning great prizes and parading around Lincoln Square.
